CBD Oils and RSO
A very close friend in San Francisco with metastatic bc has had great results with CBD/THS oil. She used it while on treatment with Ibrance and Letrozole. Her doctor wasn’t too keen about her using it since there haven’t been too many studies on it. She purchased it from Constance Therapeutics in San Francisco. Please do your research and find a reputable company. I hope you have great results as well. We need to have marijuana decriminalized by the federal government so that they can do more studies on it. Another friend, who’s a hospice nurse, told me that one of her patients used CBD oil derived from hemp (no THC) for pain in addition to Tramadol. When the patient began using the CBD oil, it alleviated the pain and her appetite improved.
I just posted this to a similar discussion so I’m posting here, too
I just bought my first medical marijuana products a week ago. I’m trying full spectrum CBD oil capsules with 10 mg THC, which is low THC level. They have a mild effect, mainly easing my mood and helping me fall asleep. No side effect. Medical marijuana isn’t tested or quality controlled except by the maker, so ensuring you get what you paid for is basically trust. So far, the capsules are ok. Next purchase I may go for higher THC. Medicare parts a and b don’t cover medical marijuana. Some Medicare supplement plans do but you need to check for coverage. What I bought was less expensive than I expected. I use Norco for pain and am trying the CBD/THC oil to use less Norco, with some success. It’s not perfect but I’m just starting. Hopefully federal laws and regulations get changed, since 31 states allow medical marijuana, and a number have legalized recreational marijuana. Might drive down prices and regulate quality control. And allow transport on planes. When I mentioned CBD oil to my oncologist, he did tell me to use CBD from marijuana with THC in it, not CBD from hemp, which has no THC.
