Hi, I'm Lyle R. C.

Am in my late 60’s and take Gleevic for CMML. I also have had Acid Reflux since my early 20’s, which is sometimes exacerbated by the Gleevec. I have found that a couple of tokes prior to dinner helps avoid this problem, along with enhancing my waning appetite and assisting with sleepiness at bedtime.

Absolutely so. I’m 37 with cervical cancer and I’m 2 weeks from being done and up until now I haven’t had to take much pain meds basically just smoke. It helped with appetites, to be able to rest, and not be so much on edge.

Hi, I'm DocJay

Hello all. Medical Marijuana is legal in GA. One needs to fit it the rigid criteria that our “law makers” have set forth. If you fall in one of the specified category, you will be able to get a “Marijuana card”by talking to your oncologist and file necessary paper work with the state as specified in the following link:
https://dph.georgia.gov/low-thc-oil-faq-general-public
Remember, this allows you to get LOW THC OIL ONLY. You cannot posses the buds or any other form of Marijuana.
By the way, are you aware of the fact high CBD oil has been teated in various centers in the USA and more so in Israel and has been proven to CURE many forms of cancer. Besides CBD oil will not get you high!! In fact you may have improvement in your mood, energy and able to rest without pain.

Hi, I'm Pete Smith

My oncology group, Atlanta Cancer Care, told me they decided not to certify patients for cannabis oil because it required recurring paperwork that they decided was too time consuming. I have now gone to my internist and he is exploring the certification process for me.
Marijuana was useful during chemo so I would expect the oil to help with the pain of chemo induced neuropathy.

Hi, I'm P French

Although you are allowed to carry that card. You still need a place to get the oils. Any suggestions?
